The responsibility for the continuous supply of healthy-proved drinking water is a demand for the Business unit of  Gradski Vodovod. The main business directions are based on the technology development for the water production, its transportation to the consumers, in order to ensure enough quantity of drinking water for the citizens of  Osijek and its suburbs.

The business unit Gradski Vodovod is the organizational unit of the company of  Vodovod-Osijek and consists of six units:

• The water production
• Laboratory
• Watersupply network
• Account and Charging for water
• Geodetic-cadastral unit
• Hydro-geological works

The mission of Gradski vodovod is the development of modern infrastructure with a high quality level of services.
Osijek Watersupply system consists of 450 km watersystem network, 27 000 waterwork links and 35 000 measuring spots to read the water consumption.
In the year 2002, the system quality management ISO 9001:2000 has been established, in order to continually increase our own possibilities and fulfill the consumers` demands.
The construction of the modern watersupply system has been coordinated with the protection of environment and the interests of the local community. Through gradual modernization and automatization of particular units in water production, we get better quality each year. This water improvement is a result of continuous care and investments in the existing technological process.
