The control of the quality of the drinking water is implemented in the internal laboratory of Vodovod Osijek, which holds the working licence by the Ministry of Health. The additional control of the drinking water propriety is insured by continuous controls of the County agency  for public health, as well as by the analysis demanded by the sanitary inspection.

Lab analyzes anually about 4350 water samples according to different expert and legislative criteria, and in such way gains a fond of cca 60000 data of water quality.

The testing of these parameters are checked daily: turbidity, colour, scent, pH, ammonia solution; nitrite, nitrate, consumption KmnO4, evaporation residuum, alkality, dissolved oxygen, non-binded CO2, fluoride, phosphate, conductivity, manganese, ferrum, calcium, magnesium, chloride, sulfate, complete solidity, complete chlorine (DPD),non-binded chlorine (DPD) and arsenic.

The microbiological analysis includes the following: the entire number of bacteria in 1 ml on 37˙C and the entire number of bacteria in 1ml on 22˙C, entire and faeces coliform bacteria in 100 ml, faecal streptococcus in 100 ml, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa in 100 ml and sulfide reduced clostridia in 20 ml.

All mentioned parameters are within the Regulations, which is supported by the County Agency for public health analysis, as well as analysis demanded by the Sanitary inspection.

 Through gradual modernization and automatization of particular units in water production, we get better quality each year. This water improvement is a result of continuous care and investments in the existing technological process.
