Working unit Sewage system  is responsible for maintenance of the continuous functional sewage system of Osijek and its suburbs. It also maintains the main and the secondary sewer, as well as the constructions on it, repairs and reconstructs sewer`s units, controls the sewage, provides the services of the machine-cleansing of sewer units, street- and road gully-holes and internal sewer networks of companies and individuals.

Today the Osijek sewers system consists of 255 km main and seconary sewer with around 16 000 sewer home units, 8 rain overflows and 18 pumping stations.

The main sewer in the Osijek drainage system is made of the old North sewer (6633 m), which has been in function for 90 years, and new sewers: Connective north sewer (3200 m), South sewer (12746 m) and Industrial sewer (930 m).

The completer sewage of Osijek are drained into the river Drava at drainpipe in Nemetin where the central purifying drainage system is planned to be located.

In the year 2002 the managing quality system has been established according to ISO 9001:2000, in order to continually increase our own possibilities and meet the consumers` demands.
